“Abstract
Vibrations”
A new group show during April
2010,
at Gallery4allarts, including the launch of new, additional
gallery space.
You are invited to participate to the following new exhibition,
“Abstract Vibrations” opening
Saturday 3rd of April, which
will also inaugurate the new exhibition space (2 more rooms
in the
same building,
Sefton Grove, off Lark Lane) that I am working on.
Generally, submissions are welcome from artists who work within the 'abstract'
or conceptual field; mediums may vary.
2D works are welcomed mainly, but a couple of 3D works might be selected as
well.
Submission criteria/ details: If interested to participate please, deliver (CD) or e-mail
your submission by latest 30th March together with:
- *1- 2 images of submitted work, Jpeg format 300dpi
- *artist' statement or other critical reviews
- artist' biography
- *exhibition fee: £35/artist (concession £15, £5)
- *1- 6 artworks to be selected. *Works to be labelled and ready
for hanging/ installing (though limited space, I encourage
you to also submit big size works, ideally a mixture of sizes).
2D
works should have a hanging system and rope provided at the
back or attached mirror plates. Sizes shouldn’t
exceed 200X200 cm for 2D works. All works on paper must be appropriately
framed.
-* List of works, numbered
and specifying artist name, work title, medium, dimensions, if
for sale, full selling price. Please, consider 25% gallery
commission included in
the price.
! Important, please, note:
•
Entries marked with * are compulsory.
•
There will be an exhibiting fee of £35/artist (concession £15,
£5),
to
help with rent cost and heating. Advertising not included. According to the amount
and size of work submitted and status of artist (employed/ unemployed/
or
if
on
social
benefit),
concession might apply (!please, bring proof if on benefit).
•
There will be a selection of the submitted works.
•
80% of your fee is refundable if your submission is not successful.
•
Submissions accepted from local (North West England) artists only.
•
No postal delivery please. Deliveries only in person. Thanks.

! Before arriving at the gallery, please check gallery

•
Professional artists are invited to visit the gallery and bring for selection
samples of their work (1-6 pieces all labelled on the back) or email images of
their work together with: artist name, statement, general contact details and
a list of artworks including title, medium and selling prices.
